The owner of a GR Yaris came to us with complaints of door panel buzz, highway hum, and weak mid-bass.

After inspection and a quick dB check, we proposed 2-door soundproofing using STP two-layer tech: Vibration vibration damping + acoustic/thermal decoupler.

We removed the trims, degreased the metal, checked for corrosion, and sealed service holes and speaker mounts.

Lightweight, non-bitumen stack—no hinge strain, OEM-clean reassembly.

Result: quieter cabin, tighter mid-bass, clearer vocals. Completed in 1 day.

Door Inspection

Having disassembled the door, we didn't see any sound-absorbing material. We clean it and degrease the surface.

  • The first layer is STP Gold vibration insulation. It will remove vibrations, noise.

  • The second layer is StP Biplast to stop sound waves coming inside. Besides it stabilize temperature and acoustic comfort.

Plastic Door Card.
  • To avoid any plastic rattles, we install StP Gold vibration damping there. On top applied Anti-Noise pack in each clips.

To create an enclosure and stop all sound waves coming inside - we install StP Biplast on a plastic door card.

  • To stop a door breathing we applied StP Gold to close all technical holes and avoid any rattles.
