• Identified Issues
    • Road noise from the wheels
    • Engine Noise
    • High level of vibration and both internal and external noise
    • Doors rattles
  • Work Performed
    • Comprehensive soundproofing
    • External treatment of wheel arches
    • Soundproofing of the front panel
  • Results
    • 12 Db noise reduction in doors and floor. 2x quieter.
Dimitriy was incredibly knowledgeable and recommended the perfect solution for my new Golf R. The car is over 10db quieter now and drives more like a luxury car that a VW! Feels like a tank, it’s awesome.

Thank you to Dimitriy and his team!

Floor Sound Proofing
Whole interior was extracted to have an access to metal panel. There we see tiny stock stripes of vibration damping. It's barely enough to stop any noise.
Floor Sound Proofing
The floor was treated with STP Aerocell 6 mm — a high-efficiency material engineered for large flat surfaces exposed to constant road and mechanical impact.
  • Aerodynamic and road noise, creating a calmer cabin environment
  • Minimizes vibration load on the vehicle’s body, extending panel life and improving comfort
  • Dampens impact noise from gravel, sand, and uneven surfaces hitting the underbody
  • Improves thermal insulation, keeping the cabin cooler in summer and warmer in winter
This combination provides a noticeable upgrade in both acoustic comfort and driving feel, especially important for long-distance or off-road use of the Land Cruiser 79.
Door SoundproofingThe doors of the Golf R were treated with a two-layer system:
  • STP Aerocell 6mm— vibration damping layer
  • STP Aero— acoustic and moisture-resistant insulation
This combination eliminates metal resonance, reduces external noise, and removes door panel rattles.

As a result, the doors close with a solid, premium feel, and the cabin becomes noticeably quieter even at speed.

The rear section of the Golf R has minimal factory insulation, allowing road and exhaust noise to enter the cabin.

We applied sound and heat insulation to reduce noise transfer and improve overall cabin comfort — making the drive quieter and more refined without affecting performance.

Since the bonnet is conneted to the main body, it also tends to resonate and sends a noise to the main body.
