Dimitri is very professional and friendly.
He understands acoustics and the importance of proper sound deadening for a high-quality audio system installation, especially in high SPL environments.
He is not the cheapest, but it’s better to do it right the first time and only pay once.

Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Photo Report of Completed Work
In this article, we provide a detailed overview of the factory sound insulation in the Toyota Land Cruiser 79, along with a photo report of the full-vehicle sound deadening process using professional STP materials.
After dismantling the interior, we carefully inspected the factory insulation. The results were expected — no sound insulation on the roof or doors, and only small vibration-damping patches on the floor and cargo area, covering approximately 20% of the total surface area.
Floor Sound Proofing
The floor was sound deadened with STP Intrigo 6mm, a high-performance vibration damping material designed for large flat metal surfaces exposed to constant road vibration and mechanical stress.
Floor Sound Proofing
Reduces aerodynamic and road noise, resulting in a quieter and more refined cabin environment.

Minimises vibration load on the vehicle’s body, improving comfort and extending panel longevity.

Dampens impact noise from gravel, sand, and uneven road surfaces striking the underbody.
Improves thermal insulation, helping keep the cabin cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Overall, this combination delivers a noticeable improvement in acoustic comfort and driving refinement, particularly beneficial for long-distance travel and off-road use of the Land Cruiser 79.
Floor Sound Proofing
The doors of the Land Cruiser 79 were sound-deadened using a two-layer system, with STP Intrigo 6mm applied as the primary vibration-damping layer.

As a result, the doors now close with a more solid, refined feel, and cabin noise is noticeably reduced, particularly at higher speeds.

Dahsboard Soundproofing

Benefits of Floor Soundproofing - reduces engine and road noise, resulting in a quieter and more refined cabin environment

Dahsboard Soundproofing

All pipes were wrapped with StP Bitoplast 5mm. Tesa tape was used to stop wiring rattling.

Doors Soundproofing

As a result, the doors now close with a solid, premium feel, and the cabin is noticeably quieter even at higher speeds.
