Having disassembled the roof I didn't find absolutely nothing there stat can stop any noise.
Then I removed its lining, degreased the metal and installed the lightweight StP Silver.
Having only a vibration damping on the roof is not enough if you'd like to deal with heat and sound waves. That is why StP Splen was installed on top of the vibration damping. This is a proven solution that was tested in StP labs and on millions of cars.
Having only vibration damping helps reduce low-frequency noise in the 20–150 Hz range. However, the sound waves we actually hear go beyond that range. To block road noise at higher frequencies, I installed STP Bromo.
To prevent echo and noise passing through the plastic panels, I applied a vibration-damping layer and covered it with STP Biplast. The result — no more rattles and a quieter cabin.
The doors in the Nissan Navara are quite large and tend to produce various noises due to metal resonance. To block this, I treated the inner door panels with STP Gold and STP Sonora. This combination is a proven solution, effectively reducing resonance and making the cabin much quieter.
