Floor Sound Proofing
Stock insulation provides very minimal noise reduction. It barely stops any noise and mainly acts as basic floor foam.

The boot in the Yaris GR doesn’t have any proper soundproofing materials. However, the wheel arches are large and generate a lot of low-frequency noise. All of this negatively impacts the driving experience.
- Aerodynamic and road noise, creating a calmer cabin environment
- Minimizes vibration load on the vehicle’s body, extending panel life and improving comfort
In this picture, the left side is treated with STP Gold to stop metal resonance and STP Bromo to reduce medium- and high-frequency noise. This combination minimises noise so you can enjoy the ride.
It shocked us that the Yaris GR doors have absolutely nothing to stop noise.
The doors are large and cover more than half of the car’s side, so they should definitely be soundproofed.

As part of our standard approach, both the inner and outer door skins were fully soundproofed with StP Gold.
The door card was treated with soft STP Biplast to eliminate plastic contact, while STP Bitoplast was applied around the perimeter to remove any potential rattles and ensure a solid, refined finish.
